We are pleased to announce we are able to offer an in-house newly developed analysing machine for Blood Progesterone levels to determine the optimum time for mating your bitch, to help achieve the best results for your breeding programme.
How it works...
1) Call us or email us to request a Progesterone Sampling Kit, which will be sent to your home address. The kit contains of 3 blood tubes, biohazard bags, forms and return envelopes. There will be sufficient for 3 tests per kit.
2) On day 8 of the bitch’s season, take your bitch to your vet for the blood to be drawn, the blood is required to be put into a blood tube provided in the kit.
3) Send the blood tube with the completed form by Next Day Special Delivery to Fit And Fertile Ltd. The testing will be conducted on the day of receipt and a telephone call will be made to you providing you with the results and a report will be emailed or posted to your address.
4) Results will be either; · The levels of Progesterone are too low and further testing is required, · The bitch is ready to be mated between certain days, or · The bitch has already missed the opportunity to be mated for this season.
